The company

Herark Pty Ltd is a proprietary company limited by shares, incorporated in 2026. It is founder-led and independent. It is not a subsidiary, not a label operating under another publisher, and not funded against an external publisher's advance.

The business

We develop original games for PC and publish them ourselves. Doing both halves keeps the publishing margin and the decision rights that a studio our size normally trades away, and it means we carry the commercial risk rather than passing it on.

Releases are direct to PC through Steam. That keeps us out of a platform holder's approval queue between a bug and its fix, and it keeps the cost of supporting a game after launch low enough that we can actually do it.

How the studio is run

The operating discipline is finishing. We prove a game's core in a cheap, ugly prototype before any production spend, cut scope at the first suspicion it is too large rather than months later, and put builds in front of players early enough that their reaction can still change the game. That is a cost control as much as a design method: the common way a small studio fails is not a bad idea, it is an ambitious one that never ships.

Current status

Seven titles are in development under working codenames. None is announced and none has a release date. Development status is kept on the Games page and every announcement is posted to News as it is made.
